Do you accept insurance?​

Messenger Speech Therapy is an out-of-network provider. Our services are often covered by out-of-network benefits. We can provide you with a receipt/suberbill to submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. We also accept HSA/FSA cards. 

Why don't you accept insurance?​

Accepting insurance would require a full time employee to spend​ hours billing and communicating with insurance companies. Instead, Messenger Speech Therapy has chosen to devote their time and resources to completing trainings and certifications which will increase knowledge/skills to benefit clients more directly. Messenger Speech Therapy is better able to cater to each child's specific needs without worrying whether it will be covered by insurance. 

What are the benefits of private pay services?​

  • No referral is needed

  • Eligibility is not based on standardized test scores

  • You can decide session length and frequency

  • No maximum on number of visits per year

  • Family oriented goals (based on family goals and child's needs) 

  • Access to every session treatment note which includes carryover strategies & homework

How much do you charge?​

Individualized therapy session rates are as follows:

  • 30 minutes - $60.50

  • 45 minutes - $90.75

 

​Articulation/Language Evaluations:

  • 60 minutes - $225

  • 90 minutes - $250

  • (comprehensive evaluation report & treatment plan delivered within 5-10 business days)

Comprehensive Childhood Apraxia of Speech Evaluation

  • 2 hour evaluation + 15-minute intake call + 15-minute follow-up to discuss results/recommendations - $350

  • includes a comprehensive evaluation & treatment plan delivered within 7-10 business days with specific recommendations
